| Terms & Conditions for repaired/serviced items 1. Customers are liable to arrange pickup and collection of their items by their own means (either in person, or via courier). SynthRestore are in no way responsible for items once they are in transit. All issues concerning delayed delivery and/or pickups are between you (the customer) and the courier service concerned. 2. The current minimum charge for a standard repair and/or service is £90, though concessions are made in certain circumstances. These prices are subject to change without prior notice. Payment is to be made in full upon successful repair and/or service. Note: Items that cannot be repaired - for whatever reason - will not incur a charge (unless a written/emailed agreement is made in advance). 3. Repaired/serviced items must be collected (or paid for) within one week of notification, otherwise a handling fee of £10 per week will be incurred. 4. A specific repair/service is guaranteed for 28 days, unless otherwise stated in writing, by Synthrestore. Any breakdown or failiure regarding a different problem(s) (to the original repair) are treated as new, and are not covered by the guarantee. 5. Commission sales (sales on behalf of clients), are NOT covered by any SynthRestore guarantee, unless otherwise stated in writing by Synthrestore. These items are the property of the original seller and any issues concerning failiure or breakdown of purchased goods (including postage issues) are the responsibility of the previous owner. If you need to know an items status (secondhand etc.) please ask before purchasing. 6. Secondhand items (belonging to SynthRestore ) are fully serviced, and are covered by a 14 day warranty. This warranty is in no way transferrable from the original sale. Customers who change ownership of items within the warranty period (of 14 days) will render the agreement as null and void. 7. Refunds will only be given in the instance that a faulty returned item (that it still in the 14 day warranty period) cannot be regarded as repairable by Synthrestore. In such a case, a cheque made payable to the original purchaser will be issued. Any other instance of claims for refunds is to be decided by Synthrestore only. Refunds apply to point 6 & point 8 only. 8. Spares are not subject to warranty, apart from IC's, which are covered by a 5 day return policy. The item will be replaced, or the amount will be refunded, IF the unit is found to be defective, and has not been damaged by bad soldering and/or fitting. 9. SynthRestore are not liable in any way for damage, loss or theft caused in transit by couriers (or agents thereof). 10. Synthrestore shall take no responsibility regarding faults/breakdown, damage to equipment (and/or persons) who take it upon themselves to repair their own equipment after purchasing spares. 11. Items brought/sent to the premises for repair/servicing are done so at the risk of the customer. Synthrestore shall take no responsibility for injury,damage,theft or accidential loss associated with the item(s), and valuable items should be insured by you (the customer) for continued protection.
